Meet Rob
Sobriety Coach & Counselor
Rob Brockman is a Masters Level Licensed Advanced Addiction Counselor (LAADC, ICAADC). Since 1988 Rob has worked tirelessly to help those struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Rob believes in treating the whole person in body, mind and spirit. After many years of work in leadership roles and private practice in 2021 he launched his own legacy project to fulfill his life passion of mentoring.
Rob experienced personal adverse childhood experiences that resulted in a feeling of disconnect and maladaptive coping. At 26 he embraced recovery and personal growth as a way of life. He has remained 100% committed to a clean and sober lifestyle insisting on balance between work, love, and play. In addition to his involvement in the recovery community he also has remained active in the surfing community as a long standing member of the Sunset Cliffs Surfing Association. He has served in leadership roles and mentored younger members.
Rob treats clients with kindness, compassion, with an understanding that people can change while providing hope, support, and encouragement. Rob is a San Diego native who lives with his wife Gail and their pets. In addition to being of service Rob loves to surf, paddle, hike, and garden.
